Flexible NDIS day options that help your loved one build skills, make friends and enjoy a full, purposeful day in the community.

Get out and about in the community. We can plan visits to parks, beaches, libraries, markets, cafés, sporting events and local groups, so your loved one stays connected to the places and people they enjoy.

Day options are a great chance to build confidence in everyday tasks. Your loved one can practise cooking, shopping, budgeting, using public transport and managing a routine, with support at a pace that suits them.

Meeting people and making friends matters. We support participants to join group activities, interest-based clubs and community events, and to build social connections that last beyond the session.

From art, music and gardening to games, fitness and cooking, activities are chosen around your loved one’s passions. Every day can include something they look forward to.

Our support workers help with mealtimes, medication prompts, toileting and other personal care throughout the day. Support follows the preferences and plans you share with us, always with dignity and respect.

At the end of each day, you’ll receive a short summary of what your loved one got up to, how they felt and any achievements worth celebrating. You’ll always know how their day went.
A good day makes a big difference. For many people with disability, a regular day program offers more than something to do. It brings routine, purpose, friendship and the chance to grow in independence. For families, it means knowing their loved one is somewhere safe, engaged and well supported.
Kaya Disability Support is a locally operated provider based in Paralowie, delivering day options across Adelaide’s northern suburbs and surrounding areas. Our team started Kaya after experiencing disability in our own families, so we understand how important it is that every day feels meaningful, not just filled.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs. Each participant’s schedule is built around their goals, interests and abilities, whether that’s learning new skills, getting out into the community or simply spending time with people they enjoy. Plans can be adjusted as confidence grows and goals change.
Every support worker is screened and trained in disability support. We aim to keep the same team around your loved one so relationships build naturally, and we follow any existing behaviour support, health or communication plans so care stays consistent from home to day program.
Starting day options with Kaya is straightforward, and we keep it easy to manage once things are underway. Here’s what to expect.
Call us or send an enquiry to tell us a little about your loved one, what they enjoy and what they’d like to get out of their days. We’ll talk through your goals, preferred days and any questions you have.
We meet with you and your loved one to talk about their interests, strengths, support needs and NDIS goals. From this, we build a day options plan with a clear weekly schedule and a mix of activities that suits them.
We introduce your loved one to the support workers who’ll be with them, ideally before their first day. This helps everyone feel at ease and gives them a chance to ask questions.
We check in regularly to see how things are going. As interests, goals or routines change, we update the plan with you, so your loved one’s days keep moving forward.
For NDIS participants, day options are commonly funded through Core Supports, usually under Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation. Some skill-building activities may also be funded through Capacity Building supports, depending on the goals in your plan.
The cost depends on the number of hours, the days you attend, the level of support required and whether support is one-to-one or in a small group. Our rates follow the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, so you’ll never be charged more than the NDIS allows.
Before anything starts, we’ll go through your plan with you and explain how your funding can be used and what your weekly schedule will cost. There are no hidden fees and no surprises on your statements.

We know what it’s like to support someone we love, and that shapes how we listen, plan and care.

Every activity has a purpose, so your loved one has fun while working towards the goals in their NDIS plan.

We aim to keep the same support workers, so friendships form and your loved one feels secure from day one.

You’ll have a direct contact at Kaya and regular updates, so you’re never left guessing.
